Residents are complaining the water channel normalization in Kemang IX, Pela Mampang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan South Jakarta, as it has to cover the road and disturb the resident activities.

Head of Construction Side Controlling Section for South Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Surya Kopa acknowledged the normalization is often protested. As the excavated soil is put on the road making the residents' activity disrupted.
"The excavated soil transport is troubled. I will warn the contractor thus it will be cleaned soon," he told.
